Planting Day, Saturday 5 September 2009, 10.30 am to 1.00 pm Shoebridge Reserve, Waiotoi Rd, Ngunguru
Last year,11 year old local schoolgirl, Sophie Jennings, wrote to the Whangarei District Council asking for plants that could be planted in Ngunguru to help stop erosion and ultimately improve the water quality of our river. Many of you will be aware the silt in the Ngunguru River is becoming more of a problem. Please see the flyer and feel free to circulate it.
