Abbey Caves

I am currently in my 2nd year of a Bachelor of Applied Arts - Visual. Studying at NorthTec in Whangarei, New Zealand. I also part-time teach ferro-cement garden sculpture in adult education. I find that my art responds to my immediate environment, either by subject matter or by the materials used. I have done bodies of work that relate to my two young children, paintings and sculpture of toys etc. My work at the moment is responding to the natural environment around me, and my interest in spatial concerns such as negative space and containment.
