I was in Ngunguru for the first half of April and had the opportunity to fly with Adrian Gilbert. Here's what the sandspit looks like from the air. The flight wasn't as bumpy as it looks. Maybe I was just too excited.

The soundtrack is Bright Eyes with "We are nowhere and it's now". The music is part of an attempt to appeal to the younger demographic on this website. Older listeners may recognise the voice of Emmylou Harris doing the backing vocals.
