Landco announced that it had abandoned its plan to create a compact, low-rise community on the Ngunguru Sandspit after it negotiated a landswap and acquired a small sandy area near the Ngunguru School.

"Yes, the new site is smaller, but it has much better access. We only ever wanted to create a compact community and we're able to go high-rise on the new site." said Landco spokesperson Primeiro de Abril.
