Keep our history alive. Join us for a walk along the Ngunguru waterfront. Hear local historians describe the history of this fascinating area. Hear tales of early Maori and European settlement, sawmills and tall timber, shipwrecks and tsunamis, coal, scows and pioneers. Walk ends at the old hall where speakers will be available to answer questions.
Contact Pat Heffey (4343771 evenings) for information or just turn up on the day.
Date: Sunday April 6th
Time: 10.30 am
Start: Ngunguru School
