Verse of The Day
(Philippians 2:14-16)

Articles - LandCo Proposal
Written by EDS, Volume 9 Issue 2 August 2007
Friday, 07 September 2007

Since October 2005 Landco has been consulting with stakeholders over its plans to develop a 152-hectare site which includes the entire Ngunguru spit. The plan includes constructing 350 dwellings within a 35-hectare village area and protecting 84 hectares of land as reserve. Part of the proposal extends onto the sand spit, an area waterlogged by the storms of July 2007. Local residents are still waiting in anticipation for Landco's application.
