The group is concerned about a coastal carve-up around Ngunguru—resulting in the loss of natural habitat and loss of access to the coast. The site is kept updated with short articles, links, pictures and other material as they become available. If you register, you can submit your own material and use all the site's features. Of local interest...

Whangarei District Council has produced a media release reassuring Ngunguru residents that their effluent is in good hands and will soon be flowing into a revamped wetlands area:

"Highly engineered, thoughtfully excavated, lined, gravel-filled and awaiting the careful installation of specially selected plants, Ngunguru’s new $450,000 wetland will rarely experience a single human footfall."
