Verse of The Day
(Philippians 2:14-16)

What LandCo says

“We are custodians of the land, creating outstanding places for people to live, work and grow. We recognise that what we do to generate value from the land has an impact on it, so we must ensure that impact is a positive one. I am convinced that our business is as much about taking care to do right by the land as it is about creating access to that land for all New Zealanders. By revitalising deteriorating land and identifying the best balance for it we can then develop exciting possibilities for future generations.”
Greg Olliver, CEO Landco Limited

What LandCo does

A year ago a concerned local resident, Judi Gilbert, phoned LandCo and volunteered to remove wilding pines from the sandspit at no charge. Her offer was turned down a week later. It appears that LandCo felt it was in its best interests at the time to let the sandspit deteriorate.
