Regular readers will know the routine by now. When real news about Ngunguru dries up, made-up news must be found.

Here's a link to what must be a good candidate to be Ngunguru's sister village—Ngunguru, Kenya. According to the picture, the African Ngunguru doesn't have a sandspit, but it's got a nice mountain and a pretty lake. I can't vouch for how accurate the information is. After all, the same site describes Ngunguru (NZ) as being "a populated place in Akaroa, which is a region of New Zealand".
