The Department of Conservation (DOC) would like to invite you to a community engagement hui to discuss the future aspirations of whanau/hapu and community groups that have a vested interest in the Ngunguru sand spit.

| 11am | DOC to give a overview of current knowledge of the reserve – maps, boundaries, legal access, land status etc |
| 11:20am | DOC/community engagement – What work should be done on the spit? This is an opportunity for people to talk about what should be done on the spit. DOC staff will help facilitate discussions through group activity. |
