A Ngunguru resident can't understand why broadband has been connected to neighbouring properties, but his home has been left out.

Fritz Gratz has neighbours who receive fixed line broadband located 4km before and 3km after his Ngunguru Road property, but was told by Telecom he was too far from the exchange for the service. He questioned the purpose of upgrading areas and leaving particular homes out, saying it was almost impossible to use the internet on dialup speed and his computer often timed out.
