The history of Ngunguru School has been set in stone thanks to a group of problem-cracking students.

Five gifted students will now be taking their problem-solving skills to the national finals of the Community Problem Solving competition.

The Future Problem Solving Programme is designed to extend and challenge students while teaching them how to work around obstacles.

The problem at the 140-year-old Ngunguru School was that old documents were getting lost and historical facts were being forgotten.
